We seek an ambitious and exceptional colleague with teaching experience in Digital Economy to join the Science, Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (SITE) department at the University of Exeter Business School. The Senior Lecturer position will cover Education and Scholarship.

In particular, we welcome applications from Digital Economy scholars interested in one or more of the following research areas: innovation management, Science and Technology Studies (STS), risk analysis, and blockchain. In addition, we look for candidates that have the necessary skills to act as programme director for a PG certificate programme in Digital Economy.

About you
For a Senior Lecturer post you will have:
  • A PhD or equivalent in Business/Management or related areas.
  • Experience developing taught programmes in Digital Economy at Undergraduate and PGT levels. Notably designing modules, specifying assessments and working with the quality assurance and programme accreditation process. 
  • Experience overseeing taught programmes in Digital Economy, including oversight of day-to-day operational processes (e.g. timetabling, assessment, examination systems), and programme accreditation processes 
  • Enthusiasm for delivering high quality undergraduate and postgraduate programmes
  • The ability to teach a range of material in Digital Economy or related areas 
  • The attitude and ability to engage in continuous professional development
  • A strong potential for educational leadership
  • Relationships with external organisations and funders/ and knowledge and experience of key sectors or business challenges
  • Strong connections with business, government and/or civil society organisations
  • Involvement in projects which develop impact.
