The Institute of Neuroscience & Psychology is seeking to make a Professor/Reader/Senior Lecturer appointment. You will conduct and lead on a program of world-class research in the area of Cognitive Neuroscience, whilst contributing to high quality teaching.
The main criteria being research excellence and, depending on the level of appointment, a potential or proven track record to build an internationally competitive research group. The research programme should align with the strategic objectives of the Centre of Cognitive Neuroimaging (CCNi) by using state of the art neuroimaging techniques in different combinations.
You will enhance the Centres already substantial international reputation in the area of brain, cognition and behaviour. The centre brings together researchers developing and applying new Cognitive Neuroimaging Techniques and hosts a state-of-the art brain imaging facility (3T-fMRI, MEG/EEG, TMS/TES), with links to nearby 7T-fMRI. It is part of a multidisciplinary platform, crossing fundamental, social and cognitive neuroscience.
Applications are invited from candidates with an appropriate track record of academic achievement, and a track record in neuroimaging using at least two modalities (EEG/MEG, fMRI, TMS/tDCS/tACS), whereby the use of multimodal approaches (e.g. fMRI-EEG, TMS/tES-EEG) and the potential to bridge across disciplines of our platform is a plus.
