Job summary

We invite applications for a Head of Student Programmes in the Department of Bioengineering. This is a senior administrative role that actively contributes to setting the direction and development of the Department’s teaching. The Department delivers a large and complex teaching programme across, currently, three undergraduate degrees, two taught master’s degrees, and four research programmes.

Duties and responsibilities

You will manage a team to ensure the provision of a professional teaching support structure within the Department and the successful delivery of teaching support across the whole student lifecycle. You will be responsible for ensuring that our teaching processes reduce administrative load on academic staff, through monitoring teaching support and going on to identify and manage the implementation of improvements.

Essential requirements

Educated to a minimum degree level, the ideal candidate will have experience of working in Teaching Administration in Higher Education.
