The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) is an Executive Agency of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and is responsible for ensuring the safety, quality and efficacy of veterinary medicines in the UK.

We have a vacancy for a Grade 7 in our International Development and Training Office (IDTO) based in Addlestone, Surrey

The VMD is strengthening its international collaboration in response to a high level of interest by international bodies, the third sector, and industry in improving (or establishing) good regulatory frameworks for veterinary medicines and their increasing harmonisation, further stimulated by the global Antimicrobial Resistance initiative.

The International Project Coordinator, as part of the VMD’s IDTO,  - will be at the  heart of developing and delivering the VMD’s international strategy.  In this exciting G7 role, you will be central to constructing and delivering the VMD’s portfolio of international capacity-building and training activities.
