The Nuffield Department of Population Health (NDPH) contains world-renowned population health research groups and provides an excellent environment for multi-disciplinary research and teaching. The Clinical Trial Service Unit (CTSU) is a major international research institute within the NDPH, and is one of the world’s leading centres for research into chronic diseases, such as cancer and heart disease.

As Quality Assurance Manager, you will support CTSU trials research activity by promoting quality and improving performance, and by ensuring that the CTSU meets its legal obligations when conducting clinical trials. You will maintain quality systems, policies and standard operating procedures, represent CTSU trials at meetings with funders and at quality assurance forums and act as the first point of contact for any quality assurance-related issues.

To be considered for this post you will have proven experience of working autonomously in a quality assurance role within academia or the pharmaceutical industry and experience managing a quality management system and an electronic trial master file. Excellent time management and communication skills are also essential.

The post is full time (although part time considered) and fixed term for 2 years. The closing date for applications is noon on 29th September 2021.
