Research and Innovation Services is now recruiting a Corporate Partnerships Manager to take responsibility for the development and delivery of corporate partnerships and research collaborations with both existing and new business partners, seeking to maximise joint value across research, education and enterprise.
With responsibility for a portfolio of major industrial partners, you will be driving a wide-ranging portfolio of projects designed to deliver the University’s research and enterprise strategy and maximise interactions between the University and strategic corporate partners. Commercially astute and technologically aware, you will work with world-class researchers and global partners to help shape the relationships, secure funding and develop strong, mutually beneficial partnerships. You will engage with world leaders in research and industry and project manage a significant portfolio of projects with our strategic corporate partners.
You will have strong commercial flair and excellent communication skills, be well-organised with the ability to multi-task and to work well as part of a virtual team. You will be a self-starter and enjoy the challenge of making things happen in a fast-moving environment. If you can handle all this and you have a relevant science/engineering degree or similar qualification with a proven track record of networking and building strong partnerships then we would like to hear from you.
