About the role:
To enable us to deliver our key strategic objectives, we are looking for an experienced adviser to join our progressive and modern Employability Service working with students and graduates to develop life-long employability skills and to secure graduate jobs.
The main responsibilities of the role will include providing one-to-one and group support to students, preparation of engaging and informative career related materials, delivering of workshops and lectures both within and outside of the curriculum as well as organising employer facing events and offering research-based labour market information to academic staff as well as students. The materials you produce will also be used to support academic staff with their tutorial role in relation to graduate employment, careers and further study/training. You will work with a range of stakeholders including employers, alumni and staff in the placement team to increase the number of students securing work placements and graduate opportunities.
With a degree or relevant professional qualification, ideally related to recruitment, careers or coaching, you will have excellent interpersonal and technical skills as well as a commitment to delivering student success. Excellent organisational and communication skills and experience of working with students, graduates or a similar client base, ensuring our highly regarded team continues to provide outstanding results to our students and Faculties.
