This role will provide data science/analytics support to the ESRC Consumer Data Research Centre that is linked to activities within the Geographic Data Science Laboratory at the University of Liverpool. Research projects will be focused on deliverables that are externally facing, and will likely be situated within the themes of population and mobility, retail, transportation, finance / economy and digital.

Service aspects of the role will involve co-ordination with the ESRC Consumer Data Research Centre ( node at University College London, and support both ongoing and new user applications to our service. The successful candidate will be joining a large team of PhD and other researchers at the University of Liverpool.

You should have a Masters or first degree (Grade 2:1 or above) with a spatial data analysis component (For appointment at Grade 6) or a PhD in Computer Science, Geographic Information Science, or the broader quantitative Social Sciences (for appointment at Grade 7). Extensive data science/analytics experience is essential for this role. The post is available until 30th April 2022.
