The Communications, Marketing & Student Recruitment (CMSR) department is sector-leading and has been highly decorated - winning a number of prestigious HEIST awards and a Thelma for Outstanding Marketing and Communications team. The department has helped the University to achieve growth over a number of years, and is responsible for all aspects of the University's marketing, UK and international recruitment, admissions, widening participation and outreach, and all communications and branding.
We are looking to recruit a passionate and skilled International Marketing and Student Recruitment Support Officer to work with colleagues across the International Marketing and Student Recruitment Team in a multi-faceted support role. We are looking for someone who has a substantial level of marketing experience, coupled with strong administrative skills and cultural sensitivity. The post-holder must have an understanding of working with global customers/clients either acquired via studying or working overseas or as part of a previous role.
Key duties will include copywriting (e-comms/newsletters), content gathering, updating the international pages on the University website, maintaining University profiles and course listings, updating marketing materials, supporting international campaigns and working with the social media team. As you will be working within a busy team, a flexible approach to working patterns is essential, as is the ability to work effectively and independently to tight deadlines. You will be required to interact well with a range of contacts, at all levels, both internal and external, to develop strong working relationships.
The post holder is expected to adhere to the University’s Agile Working Framework, with days required on site to be agreed with the line manager.
