Cardiff University is seeking to recruit a Chef to work as part of the kitchen team. You will be part of the team preparing, cooking and serving meals for students, conference delegates and guests to generally assist in the smooth running of the catering services within the Catering Department.
We expect the successful candidate to interact regularly with our customers and to work with the Senior Head Chef and participate in menu development groups to develop new ideas, concepts and food innovations to maximise sales.

The role will require a flexible approach to working hours and is based on working 5 days out of 7 each week, as required, to support the achievement of the department’s goals.
Post 1 - Open-ended, semester time only (34 weeks) position of 35 hours per week, position still available.
Post 2 - Open-ended, (52 weeks) position of 35 hours per week - position filled.
