Location: Hybrid - 3 days on campus at our base in Bloomsbury, London, and 2 days remote

About the department
The Global Engagement Directorate (GED) sits within the Professional Services Directorate. Within our Directorate we have several teams including the Partnerships team; the Advancement and Alumni teams; the Communications Team and the Events team. We build and maintain comprehensive partnerships all over the globe. Our partnerships seek to deliver world-leading teaching and research enriching the students and academic experience in collaboration with other overseas institutions. Our new SOAS strategy seeks to develop a new partnership model building equitable partnerships particularly with institutions in the Global South.
About the role
You will enable the Advancement teams to deliver the strategic objectives of Alumni Engagement and Fundraising plans across SOAS, by maintaining the School’s Alumni and Fundraising database and all associated data, information and systems, undertaking the processing and recording of philanthropic gifts, monitoring donor, alumni and prospect data and working with the Finance Office, the Scholarships Office and other relevant departments across the School, and assisting the Advancement Operations Manager in divisional compliance with relevant legislation and School policy.
