We are looking for a Higher Education Adviser based in the South of England, in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Berkshire or the surrounding area, to join the team of HE Advisers who are responsible for promotion of the University and encouraging students across the UK to consider studying at UEA. The HE Adviser role is a member of the Recruitment Team and would report to the Recruitment Manager.
This role will focus upon engaging with schools and colleges primarily in the South of England. Presentations are delivered to groups of students on a range of topics from studying at University through to student finance. You will work closely with the HE Advisers based at the UEA Campus, and those based remotely across the UK.
Other primary duties of the post holder will be to represent and promote the University at Higher Education exhibitions which take place across the UK, and to liaise with academic colleagues at the university to secure their involvement in recruitment activity.
Successful applicants will demonstrate motivation for the role, evidence for the skills outlined in the person specification and a real commitment and passion for maximising opportunities for prospective students throughout their journey to Higher Education.
This role is home based and due to the remit of the role, candidates are required to live in the South of England.
This full-time post is available on a fixed term basis from 11 April 2022, or as soon as possible thereafter, to cover maternity leave and will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
