About the role
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Estates and Facilities Management division. You will have the opportunity to assist the Head of Planned Maintenance as well as the contract managers, ensuring all required contract and compliance systems and records are maintained, as well as requesting quotations and authorising remedial works. To enable the smooth running of this, you will be involved in compiling a engineering and building assets register to ensure maintenance plans and procurement reflect changes in the estate.
You will also hold responsibility for coordinating planned maintenance and compliance works across the University to minimise risk and disruption while maximising value for money. You will provide contract performance and KPI information to Asset Managers to ensure risk and value is maintained.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of estate related legislation and regulation and hold an IOSH Managing Safety certificate to reflect this knowledge. We would also expect you to have relevant contract service delivery experience - previous experience within the Higher Education setting would be advantageous.
Familiarity or experience working with management and compliance systems such as Zetasafe, TraqIT, PRIME or MiCAD would be ideal.
As an individual, we would expect you to have a strong focus on the customer experience, reflected in strong communication and organisational skills.
Informal queries are welcomed and should be made to Carl Greasley at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are expecting interviews to be held week commencing 1st February 2022.
