You will join Newcastle University Psychological Therapies Training and Research Clinic as the Clinic Coordinator/Service Manager and will have overall responsibility for leading and managing the services delivered. The Clinic sits within the School of Psychology in dedicated clinic rooms and provides cognitive-behaviour therapy (CBT) to students at the University. This role involves developing and implementing operational plans and contributing to the longer-term development of this new and innovative service.
You will work alongside qualified clinical psychologists and trainee psychologists from the DClinPsy programme and trainee therapists from the Postgraduate CBT diploma. You will be professionally accountable for ensuring that clinicians are adhering to our standardized operating procedures and that clinicians are receiving appropriate and regular supervision. You will also be required to regularly monitor and review standards of practice and service delivery taking any appropriate action where required to rectify issues identified. There will be the opportunity to get involved in evaluation and research within the university clinic setting, depending on your interests.
This is a part-time, permament role working 20 hours a week.
