Full time starting salary is normally in the range £21,000 to £22,414. With potential progression once in post to £27,268 a year. As this vacancy has limited funding the maximum salary that can be offered is £ 21,000 a year (prorated)

University Music is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible individual to join a successful team, delivering marketing and communications activity to enhance the reputation and reach of the team’s activities.
This role supports the University Music and Concerts activity and Music Department. You will deliver activities and provide administrative support to the Head of University Music and Concerts in order to maximise our reach and support reputational enhancement. Key elements of the role include creating social media content, promoting opportunities and our public events, and mentoring the Music Society Committee in order to support their activities.
The role requires, Educated to A Level standard, or equivalent level 3 qualification such as a Level 3 NVQ, or level 3 national diploma or relevant work experience evidencing the skills and ability to undertake the role. Minimum of grade C in Mathematics and English at GCSE or equivalent.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills; capacity to learn new skills and processes quickly and be adaptable to different role requirements. Evidence of high-level interpersonal skills and focus on customer service is essential.
