City is a long term user of SAP ERP and SAP Business Warehouse for HR and Finance processes (including payroll and procurement). We are embarking on an exciting 2 year replacement project to identify and fully migrate to a contemporary new solution.

Please see the job descriptions for specific details for each position, but responsibilities will broadly include: implementing process improvement activities; working closely with stakeholders to identify their requirements and challenges, developing an excellent understanding of the environment within which the project will operate, analysis of the processes and issues involved. Building and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders, collaborating closely (formally and informally) on project planning to ensure the project continues to meet organizational objectives, and excellent project management to ensure successful deliverables.
We are looking for proven business/process analysts with experience and understanding of ERPs (preferably SAP) along with excellent project management skills. You will have great written and verbal communication, the ability to influence and advise; good interpersonal skills, time management and a passion for problem solving and analytical work to support positive change

During the academic year 2021/2022, City is running a pilot of hybrid working for relevant Professional Services roles, involving a mixture of working on campus and at home each week. The pilot will provide the opportunity to review the way we work, learn, develop, collaborate and use the campus as a workplace in the most effective way to support staff, whilst ensuring that the excellent services and outcomes delivered in support of our students, colleagues and other stakeholders are maintained.
Where a hybrid working arrangement can be accommodated, specific details will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate in advance of them commencing their new role at City. Where a hybrid working arrangement is agreed, this will not detract from any comprehensive induction, that will include relevant on-site activities.
Regardless of where colleagues are working, City, University of London’s premises will be their primary and contractual place of work.
