We are looking for Lecturer in Equine Practice - Maternity Leave cover.

The Opportunity:

The Dick Vet Equine Practice, (R(D)SVS) is seeking an experienced equine veterinary surgeon for 12 months to cover maternity leave, starting as soon as possible. This is a full-time position and an exciting opportunity to take an integral role in our equine first opinion service, based at the Equine Hospital on the Easter Bush Campus, just outside Edinburgh.

Your skills and attributes for success:

• Motivated and enthusiastic member of RCVS, or eligible to register
• A veterinary graduate with postgraduate experience in first opinion equine practice
• Full valid UK driving licence, as this role is primarily ambulatory
• An ability to work alone but also to supervise and instruct students
• The commitment to developing excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients
• Right to work in the UK or ability to apply with sponsorship
