We are seeking to appoint a Career Development Fellow in US History.
The Opportunity:
There is an opportunity to join the History department of the School of History, Classics and Archaeology as a Career Development Fellow in US History. The role is supported by a generous donation from Simon Fennell, a graduate of the department. HCA Career Development Fellowships aim to provide career development opportunities for those who are at a relatively early stage of their academic careers.
This post is designed as a career development post for a recently qualified PhD in US history for a fixed period of three years. It is primarily a research post but with opportunities for developing skills in course design and organisation and large-group lecturing.
Essential criteria for this role include that the appointee has demonstrated the ability to produce 4*/3* research output as evidenced by publications.
