The Research Impact Lead will play a vital role in monitoring, evaluating and communicating the impact of our large research portfolio, including projects funded by the Steve Morgan Foundation, on the lives of people with diabetes.

Role Responsibility
Using your expert knowledge in research funding, research methodologies and research impact you will develop, embed and manage Diabetes UK’s research impact monitoring and evaluation framework. You will acquire an in-depth knowledge of our large portfolio of research projects, ensuring that all research activities, outputs, outcomes and impact are captured, measured and evaluated. You will produce regular and ad hoc written and verbal updates and reports to demonstrate the impact of our research portfolio, and champion dissemination of research impact across the charity and with external stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate
You are an analytical, organised and proactive individual with a deep understanding of research funding, expert knowledge in research methods, and experience of deploying these skills to measure and evaluate research impact.
