About the Role
The School Marketing Manager is an exciting and dynamic role with a primary focus on designing, implementing and evaluating strategic and tactical marketing plans for all audiences and markets within your academic area, plus supporting our reputation-raising activity. You will line manage a small team and collectively deliver a wide range of marketing activities from lead generation campaigning, recruitment events, conversion activity to social media.

A key element of the role is creating exciting and informative content to promote our portfolio, as well as supporting the Faculty Communications Manager to raise the profile of our research outputs and impact, and developing the effectiveness of our owned digital channels.

About You

  • You will have good experience in marketing planning and implementation.
  • You will thrive in fast-paced environments and relish cross-function and collaborative working and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • You will have experience of and enjoy working across all channels within the full marketing mix in order to create impactful marketing outcomes.
  • You will have excellent communication skills across all channels and with all stakeholders.
  • You will have experience in managing and prioritising a varied workload whilst working accurately under pressure.

About the Schools
We are recruiting for a permanent School Marketing Manager for the School of Economics and Finance.

The School Marketing Manager reports into the central Marketing and WP team, a part of the External Relations Directorate, whilst being based in the School of Economics and Finance. This approach gives you the best of both worlds – an inspiring academic environment and the professional expertise of working in a specialist marketing community.
