About the role
This post will work closely with the SWS Manager and colleagues across Student Wellbeing Services (SWS) and the University to coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of SWS initiatives, projects and activities, such as the new (student) Wellbeing Ambassador scheme.
The post holder will lead the delivery of a range of activities, including early induction events for disabled and/or neurodiverse students; developing a series of campaigns focused on topics related to student wellbeing; SWS’ contribution to University activities such as open days, offer holder days and welcome/transition events; and the marketing of SWS to the University community.
The post holder will provide day-to-day line-management for the SWS Administrators, who ensure the delivery of administrative processes across SWS, and the SWS Link Officer, who provides a consistent point of contact for students and staff located outside of Bath, at BSU London (BSUL), and at BSU Partner institutions.
About you (requirements)
Educated to degree level (or equivalent), you will be a confident communicator and orator, with experience of developing and delivering training programmes, presentations and effective campaigns and events, involving stakeholders across multiple teams/business functions.
You will be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills, be creative in identifying solutions and be able to effectively manage and prioritise a demanding workload, ensuring deadlines are met.
You will be committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and will utilise excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with a range of audiences in a calm and non-judgemental manner.
Line management and HE sector experience is desirable.
