Following the promotion of a current member of staff to Subject Area Leader the School of Languages and Applied Linguistics is seeking to appoint a Senior Teaching Fellow who will both be Course Leader for undergraduate degrees in modern languages and contribute to the delivery of language teaching.
The School belongs to a long-established global community comprising students, staff and partner organisations. This provides an inclusive multi-cultural environment where all are welcomed. Furthermore, the School is the University of Portsmouth’s hub for language learning, providing classes to students from across the University.
We are looking for a talented individual with a strong commitment to high quality teaching. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be student-centred, and experience of coordinating the work of others in a University teaching environment.
