Interim Head of Programme Administration and Assessment

We have recently been granted degree awarding powers (DAPs).

Requirements:

Interim Head of Programme Administration and Assessment - 10 months, commencing October 2022

Reporting to the Deputy Registrar as a member of the Registry leadership team, this is a key role in shaping the future of ICMP post-DAPS. The role will support the transition from University of East London Degree awards to ICMP. This includes leading on a number of work streams, including ICMP’s first graduation ceremony and first assessment boards. The role requires strong leadership and interpersonal soft skills combined withexcellent relevant knowledge of, and experience working in, the higher education sector.

The successful candidate with have a background in HE programme administration and/or assessments team leadership and will have managed excellent customer-focused student services. They will have knowledge of student assessments, data management and running examination boards, and experience of managing projects and workstreams.

The postholder will lead and develop our student helpdesk, programme administration & assessment, and library teams, providing effective student and programme support, and ensuring that we give excellent customer service to students and academics. This includes working closely with the quality and student records, data & systems and academic teams on a variety of operational and strategic planning activities, projects and events related to administrative support functions and processes.
