The College of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences aims to maximise its knowledge in fields such as Sports, Health and Exercise, Biological Sciences and Occupational Therapy to make the University a key contributor to the UK’s teaching and research agenda for health and health-related studies.
The main responsibilities for the post holder include dealing with a wide range of operational processes that cover admissions, induction, co-ordination of progress reviews, PGR training and monitoring of student visa engagement points. You will also provide support for PhD examinations as well as College-led research student events. There are also opportunities to support University events such as graduation.
The post holder will need to demonstrate excellent organisation, communication and digital literacy skills acquired through experience in higher education settings or other commensurate administrative background. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team, be dedicated to continuous professional development and show willingness to work beyond their normal hours at times of peak activity.
