Are you interested in working for a world top 100 university? We have an exciting opportunity in the School of Law at the University of Sheffield for an IT Officer. As the IT Officer you will provide a high quality IT support service within the School of Law. You will provide reactive and proactive IT support offering effective and timely advice and solutions to IT related matters. You will install, maintain and develop hardware and software solutions appropriate to the business needs of the School of Law within your portfolio.
You will be managed by the Learning Technologist and will promote and adhere to the University’s IT working practices regarding Information Security and Governance, and be responsible for the maintenance of essential records such as asset registers. You will ensure that the team works to high standards in supporting staff and students with a strong emphasis on excellent customer service.
