An exciting opportunity exists to work with a dedicated team supporting students and staff within the field of Illustration and the wider AUB community.
You will be required to deliver a variety of induction programmes and workshops to students in digital illustration and design processes. These include software packages such as Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign along with high end print digital print production workflows. It is also expected that the candidate will be able to support students in traditional print and drawing processes and health and safety to ensure a safe and productive working environment. A current knowledge of Health and Safety legislation relevant to the environment would be an advantage to the role.
You will support a range of provision offered by the university, including Interior Architecture provision, Innovation and Knowledge Exchange initiatives and AUB Open Campus projects in line with their technical expertise.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the learning environment is adequately equipped, whilst supporting and supervising a diverse range of learners in using varying equipment and software.
You must be able to plan and organise a complex workload within a very busy and constantly changing environment and possess the ability to work independently and as a member of a team as required, providing a flexible approach to support the students’ learning experience. Evening cover may be required for this post.
A Level 3 qualification and/or equivalent experience is required and ideally candidates should possess a degree and/or equivalent, in a relevant subject. Experience of working with young adults in a teaching or training environment would also be advantageous.
