WHAT WE DO
Careers, Work Experience & Progression is part of the Student Life Directorate. The Directorate leads on activities and strategies which contribute to an outstanding further education student experience closely aligned with the college and group strategic objectives. Careers, Work Experience & Progression (CWP) supports students through guidance, opportunities, and experience to make informed life choices about their career pathway and destination.
The CWP team works collaboratively with curriculum departments and other service areas as well as external partners. The successful candidate for this role will need to be innovative and collaborative in their outlook, with excellent communication skills. In their professional practice they will need to demonstrate attention to detail, be a good administrator and have experience of student engagement, working with a diverse range of stakeholders and an understanding of post 16 education. This exciting role is ideal for someone who has worked on student placements, at home and overseas, and understands the demands and nuances of this type of work.
