The Department of Economics, Accounting and Finance, part of The University of Winchester Business School, welcomes applications for the post of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance.
In this role, you will teach modules in the areas of Financial and Management Accounting across several programmes. Depending on your specialisms, these may also include modules on Audit & Assurance and Taxation.
As our ideal candidate, you will have a postgraduate degree or doctorate, or equivalent professional qualifications, and an in-depth knowledge of Financial Accounting or Management Accounting, ideally both. Knowledge and background in Tax or Audit & Assurance is desirable. You will have experience of teaching and leading relevant modules at undergraduate level.
The post-holder will be a team player, with a willingness to engage fully in the development and delivery of our dynamic portfolio of Accounting and Finance programmes. Experience of programme management is desirable, especially for appointments at Senior Lecturer grade.
There is a strong and developing academic and applied research culture within the Department of Economics, Accounting and Finance. You are expected to be actively engaged in research and scholarship, and an interest and capacity to contribute to our research and knowledge exchange agenda is essential.
