The Opportunity:

A fantastic opportunity to support students to fully participate and succeed in their chosen courses of study, working closely with University academic and support staff and external agencies as required.

Student Advisers provide a first contact point for students within their school or deanery, providing guidance and support, including additional assistance where needed, to those navigating the University support systems. Working closely with academic and professional services teams, the role will enable students to achieve their potential, as well as ensure equality/consistency of experience for all students.

The University has launched a new way of supporting students and we expect to recruit up to 50 additional Student Advisers. You can find out further information online here: www.ed.ac.uk/staff/supporting-students/personal-tutor-and-student-support-review
