Main responsibilities:
The Department of Natural Sciences is looking for an effective individual to join and complement our current team supporting the delivery of our portfolio of environmental and public health, nutrition and biology awards. The job would suit an early career academic, someone with a more established background looking for a change of culture and environment or someone from a non-academic background looking to enter academia. The successful candidate will be able to deliver high-quality teaching, learning and academic support as well as to develop or extend a track record in research or practitioner engagement and support outreach. You will be someone who is committed to promoting the development of the next generation of students, practitioners and researchers.
The Department of Natural Sciences is recognised for strong high-quality teaching, innovative delivery, research, and consultancy across a range of professional and academic programmes. Our focus is on the application of knowledge to practice and practice to student learning underpinned by evidence and research.
