We are seeking a Sports Development Manager (international) to work within the Wallace Group, and alongside Zambian NGO Sport in Action and other international and in-country stakeholders, to lead the further growth of sustainable, community owned and run sport hub-sites across Zambia. This role will strive to enhance the life chances of all hub-site participants but especially young women and girls by ensuring robust safeguarding measures and creating effective pathways in, and through, the sports they choose. This will include scope for piloting the hub-site model beyond Zambia.
The Opportunity:
You will be part of a dynamic and impactful international sport development and sport for development programme in Zambia. This will entail the opportunity for extensive in-country working and experience. You will be in a unique position to engage pro-actively with, and influencing, a range of agencies dedicated to delivering safe, appealing, sustainable and growing sport development opportunities in Zambia, and wider. This will result in life changing opportunities for young people, especially women & girls, while also shaping societal attitudes.
