This is an exciting developmental opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced and dedicated administrator to join the Clinical Liaison Team, who strive to deliver high quality customer service.
The Clinical Liaison Team is responsible for providing comprehensive management and administration of the medical and dental schools' clinical placements. The focus of the team is on clinical provider liaison and engaging with the wider health community. We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated, well organised Team Leader to take up the post of Senior Clinical Liaison Administrator (Dental) to help support the delivery of our undergraduate dental programmes.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of three assistant administrators. You will support the administration of the Dental Clinical Supervisors who treat patients and teach in our student clinics, including payment, allocating hours and arranging training. You will be responsible for overseeing the student timetables for all teaching including the recruitment and payment of providers. You will also be responsible for the planning and timetabling of all room bookings and production of the student timetables. You will be expected to liaise with providers from partner organisations about placements and Programme Leads regarding teaching, you will allocate student placements, set up provider agreements and arrange quality assurance visits.
You will need excellent communication skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and excellent IT skills, particularly advanced working knowledge of Excel. Ideally you will be an experienced line manager. You must demonstrate an understanding of teamwork and show motivation for leadership. You must be experienced at working with and analysing data.
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permament basis. The post will be located at the John Bull Building, Plymouth Science Park, Derriford, Plymouth. The team has informal arrangements for partial remote working and we are happy to discuss this with interested applicants.
