We are seeking a Research Assistant will play an important part in the delivery of the AgriFood4NetZero Network+. The AgriFood4NetZero Network+ brings together key research leaders and their organisations and networks in a mission-led collaboration founded on principles and extensive experience of coproduction with project partners. Working within the overall area of behaviour change in supply chains, the Research Assistant will assist in the development of cross-Network activities linked especially to the promoting beans in dietary change towards Net Zero.
The successful applicant will manage their own research and administrative activities, within guidelines provided by senior colleagues. You will also contribute to wider project planning, including ideas for new research projects. A key duty will be to select, follow, and adapt specialist methodologies and identify suitable alternatives where information or research material is restricted. You will undertake comprehensive and systematic literature reviews and write up the results for possible publication in peer-reviewed journals or for presentation at conferences or public meetings and contribute to research publications.
You will hold an undergraduate degree, together with some relevant experience. You will possess foundation knowledge in Net Zero strategies in the agri-food sector to work within established research programmes. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to write text that can be published, present data at conferences are essential. Experience of liaising with a range of seniorities across academia, business and 3rd-sector organisations is a must. You will need to be proactive, working both independently and as part of a team, whilst managing and prioritising a busy workload.
