The Marketing & Communications department at Edinburgh Napier University prides itself on providing innovative and expert marketing and communications advice and services to all of our stakeholders.
Our main objective is to support the recruitment and conversion of prospective students by delivering effective content marketing, online and offline promotion and advertising, design and communications.
We strive to help drive the internal and external academic reputation of the University through promoting its strengths in research and teaching.
As such, we are currently recruiting a Senior Designer to cover a maternity leave, taking responsibility for delivering engaging creative ideas and collateral for marketing campaigns which support student recruitment, and design for print projects.
The Role:
With your significant experience of the hands-on creative experience, you will be in a prime position to work directly with the Creative Manager as brand guardian, maintaining consistency of our visual brand and creative development of the visual language of the University.
You will have the important responsibility for managing the design and production process for prospectuses and other University publications, supporting the Creative Manager on student recruitment marketing collateral and other creative marketing and communications design projects, including on-campus events, digital campaigns, and printed literature, so your in-depth knowledge of producing interactive/creative projects across all digital media and print will certainly be well utilised.
You will have a dedicated team of graphic and digital designers to help you achieve this, so you’ll also get to use your experience of leading a creative team to achieve all project objectives, as well as use your understanding of the role of testing, analytics and evaluating content to deliver maximum impact with any given campaign.
We expect that you will have very high standards when it comes to content, so you will also have the opportunity to take responsibility for ensuring that all of our marketing collateral is brought to life through exemplary design, and creative and engaging solutions which contribute to student recruitment user journeys and KPIs.
