Do you have a combination of strong organisational and recent administrative skills and experience, excellent attention to detail with the ability to respond to high volumes of enquiries?
This is an opportunity to play a central role in the Graduation and Awards Team and will support the planning and delivery if our graduation ceremonies and production of award documentation and verification. The Assessment Team play a leading institutional role in this important aspect of students’ academic lives, we are looking for an experienced administrator with strong organisational and communication skills.
You will be responsible for responding to student, graduand, staff and alumni queries and act as a first point of contact for Graduands and their guests during Graduation. You will provide administrative support for the production and distribution of certificates, transcripts, and other records of achievement for students and alumni.
You will help to plan and deliver our graduation ceremonies, which are major institutional events to celebrate our students’ achievements. You will have a strong customer-service skills and support the front-of-house delivery of our graduation ceremonies.
You will have excellent IT, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build productive working relationships with a wide range of people and teams. You will be highly organised and used to delivering to deadlines.
This is a full-time, fixed-term post to 28 July 2023.
The post is suitable for hybrid working with the opportunity to combine some working from home with work at our Colchester campus.
