Applications are invited for an Assistant Professor of Environmental Law within the Department of Land Economy.
The Department is particularly interested in candidates who work on the relationship between the environment and private law (e.g. torts, company law) in domestic legal systems and at European level.
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake research, to produce publications of international quality, to contribute to teaching, to supervise postgraduate students, and to make a general contribution to his or her discipline and to the work of the Department. The successful candidate will provide lectures and seminars in the existing MPhil in Environmental Policy and in a planned MSt covering similar ground. She or he will also be expected to contribute to the Department's undergraduate law teaching, for example in Paper 5 (Environmental Law) and/or Paper 9 (Private Law).
