Do you have the interpersonal, intercultural and online engagement skills to build relationships that will positively impact student and graduate employability, relationships with prospective students, scholarship provision and the University’s global reputation?
If so, then we have a fantastic opportunity for you to further develop your personal engagement skills to grow the relationship between the University and its global community of alumni as it enters an institution-wide fundraising and supporter engagement campaign.
The Role:
Joining the International Alumni Engagement team within Campaigns and Alumni Relations (CAR) you will work closely with colleagues in CAR and Global Engagement to manage, oversee and deliver a range of international activities, events and projects that will bring our international alumni community closer to us and to each other.
CAR reconnects alumni (graduates) with their university and encourages them to give support in whatever way they can, both through volunteering and/or financially. You will play a vital part in growing our leading international alumni provision. In this varied role, you will engage with a diverse, global community of alumni and facilitate rewarding opportunities for them to give back their time to the University and get involved with projects and activities to support students.
About You:
A natural communicator with a flair for building relationships, you will have experience of developing and engaging with large networks of key university stakeholders. You will also have experience working with colleagues from across the University delivering impactful projects.
Professional, confident, and enthusiastic you will use your excellent relationship management, project management and interpersonal skills to generate support for CAR’s activities, both internally and externally. This role involves delivery of both in-person and virtual events and online engagement through various social platforms.
