Worcester Business School is seeking an experienced and motivated colleague to deliver teaching across a wide range of disciplines, with a focus on offering support for international students within the School. This is a varied role based at the University of Worcester's City Campus, supporting the School in delivering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to an increasing number of students, following a significant period of growth in the business disciplines.
The post holder will contribute to the promotion of an excellent international student experience that enables every student to reach their full potential, taking responsibility for the leadership, development and delivery of learning, teaching and assessment across a range of modules as detailed in the job description below. The successful candidate will deliver innovative, inclusive and inspiring teaching, and coordinate programmes that support the bespoke needs of international students in the School.
Candidates for this post will hold a postgraduate degree and possess a comprehensive understanding of the issues of international students within the UK Higher Education sector. The successful candidate will demonstrate their capacity to make a substantial contribution to the learning & teaching agenda within the Business and Management curriculum, as well as excellent communication skills in a variety of contexts. Candidates seeking appointment as Senior Lecturer (Teaching) must demonstrate experience of teaching in a UK Higher Education context, as well as hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education and/or Fellowship of the HEA.
