Job description
King’s Professional & Executive Development (KPED) is part of the School for Professional and Continuing Education (PACE). We partner with all of King’s faculties to design, develop and deliver open and bespoke educational programmes in line with the univeristy’s Education Strategy. We are a high-powered team with ambitious growth targets in an exciting area of development for King’s College London.
We have recently acquired dedicated space for the delivery of professional education programmes and are seeking to recruit a Operations and Service Manager – Executive Education to manage this space and facilitate programme delivery.
The successful candidate will have experience of organising events or educational programmes, will possess excellent customer service skills and have experience dealing with national and international stakeholders of all levels of seniority. The Operations and Service Manager will work to ensure all policies regarding the space are kept updated and adhered to and ensure our clients have an excellent experience while they are at Melbourne House. The post holder will work closely with the business development team and operations team at KPED to maintain operational effectiveness and deliver an exemplary client experience.
We are looking for a self-starter who has good interpersonal, influencing and organisational skills, great attention to details, an interest in education and an ability to offer excellent service delivery within a Higher Education setting.
The role is primarily based at Melbourne House, King’s Strand Campus. The nature of this post will entail evening and weekend working where appropriate. The postholder will be expected to manage their time through flexible working and time off in lieu (TOIL)
This post will be offered initially as a 2 year fixed term contract with the option to move to an indefinite contract
This is a full-time post (35 hours / week)
