The role
Working within our highly successful Advancement team and a year into our £60M philanthropic campaign that is already seeing great success, you’ll engage alumni, friends, corporates and trust and foundations by building and cultivating long-term relationships. You’ll be responsible for soliciting gifts, stewarding existing donors, and engaging alumni through volunteering opportunities and events.
This role will focus on the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences which is a truly inspirational and fascinating environment to work in. Delivering teaching to over 4000 undergraduate students training to be the Nurses, Paramedics, Midwives, Bioscientists, Psychologists, and Veterinary Surgeons of the future and conducting ground-breaking research into many aspects of human and animal health.
About you
We’re looking for someone with successful previous fundraising or relevant marketing/sales experience. You’ll need excellent writing skills to produce donor reports, fundraising proposals, and/or fundraising copy that will engage and inspire our donors. Weekend and evening work is occasionally required as well as some overnight travel in the UK and potentially internationally.
