We have an exciting opportunity in the School of Education, for a University Teacher to contribute to our innovative teaching. You will contribute to the coordination and delivery of teaching within the School of Education. You will provide teaching support across the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with full responsibility for teaching across our portfolio of programmes as required. This may be as part of timetabled sessions on our face to face programmes, or at study schools/online for our distance learning programmes. Teaching responsibilities will include: designing teaching programmes for modules, identifying learning objectives and selecting appropriate curricula; selecting teaching methods, techniques, resources and reading; determining, designing and producing study materials; planning module delivery and planning for contingencies.
We are looking for a candidate with a first degree in Education, or related area, who possesses sufficient Psychology (BPS recognised) to be GBC compliant. You will have a good understanding of the HE sector & proven teaching ability, ideally with a recognised teaching qualification.
