The University is recruiting a Researcher Developer as part of a significant investment into a new team to assist in the delivery of its responsibilities as a signatory to the Researcher Development Concordat. Working with colleagues in Research and Innovation Services, the post holder will provide innovative, impactful and flexible ways for all researchers to develop their skills, abilities and mindset to successfully achieve their aspirations.
The postholder will have experience of working with postgraduate students, research supervisors and post-doctoral researchers. This will include working across discipline boundaries to provide excellent support to staff and researchers. This experience should be underpinned by an understanding of the UK researcher development context.
The role is offered for two years initially on a full time basis.
We particularly welcome applications from under-represented groups, including Black and Ethnic Minorities, LGBTQ+, disabled and neurodivergent candidates.
Informal enquiries about the role should be addressed to Dr Luke Postlethwaite, Research Development Manager (l.postlethwaite@bradford.ac.uk).
