As one of the UK’s top 10 universities, and one of the top 100 in the world, the University of Warwick is the only UK university of its generation to achieve such progress. As a university that recruits a high number of talented international students every year from around the world, we strive to deliver a consistently outstanding Immigration Advice Service for offer holders, students and their dependents whilst consistently meeting the Home Office UKVI’s compliance requirements for our Student Visa Sponsor Licence.
We are seeking a highly organised, detail-orientated, problem-solver with a track record in Student Sponsor Licence compliance management within a HE setting. You must have excellent stakeholder engagement and project and process management skills, with experience in working in partnership with stakeholders across an institution to manage the risk of non-compliance to students and to the university. You will join a highly skilled and resourceful central student immigration and compliance team.
This rewarding post involves close liaison with students, University colleagues and outside agencies. You will be a motivated, innovative and adaptable professional with excellent IT skills, operational management and interpersonal skills.
You will need to be able to manage projects, command respect from colleagues and have knowledge or experience of visa compliance and support issues relevant to non-UK students. Previous experience of intercultural work, giving immigration advice and web-editing/html skills are desirable.
Shortlisted applicants will be asked to prepare a 10 minutes presentation in advance of the interview.
We offer hybrid working arrangements as standard. Two days office based and 3 days remote working in a typical week.
