We are the second ranked modern university for research power and 90% of our research impact is world-leading or internationally excellent (Research Excellence Framework (2021).

These include purpose-built nutrition and dietetics laboratories, sensory labs, a clinical simulation suite and video observation facilities, and a physiotherapy and wellbeing clinic (The Manchester Movement Unit). In addition, there are outstanding opportunities for developing industry and research collaborations through our Research Centre in Health, Psychology and Communities and with colleagues across the University.
We are looking for:
A qualifying degree in dietetics, a minimum of a Master's degree in a relevant discipline (Lecturer post) , together with a PhD, or PhD in progress/near completion (Senior Lecturer post) , and/or equivalent significant professional, clinical and research experience; a PGCE, Certificate of Education, PGCLTHE or Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy or an agreed professional equivalent (or commitment to obtain within three years of initial appointment); HCPC registration and membership of relevant professional bodies, such as British Dietetic Association.
