The Opportunity:
The research goal of this position is to advance our understanding of East Coast Fever pathogenesis in general, with a particular focus on studying how bovine genes modulate infection outcomes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in research that exploits the CRISPR/Cas9, MPRA, single-cell RNA-seq technologies, and lead the planning and implementation of experiments to assess the core goals of the project and produce material for publication and dissemination.
