UEA has some of the most innovative and highly regarded centres for research in the UK. Applications are invited for the post of Senior Research Associate to undertake research in collaboration with/under the supervision of Professor Sally Hardy, in order to study and evaluate innovations for workforce and system transformation across the integrated care system. The research will be based at the University of East Anglia with some expectation to travel to various partner sites across the region.
You will have a significant understanding and ability to work with health and social care partners, overcoming traditional boundaries and professional assumptions to co-create new and innovative approaches to system and workforce development opportunities, with an overarching goal for improving systems for the benefit of citizens living and working in our region and beyond. You will need to have confidence in how to lead applied research projects with complex mixed method data sets, assimilate a variety of evidence to produce and capture essential knowledge from which to transfer and utilise with multiple stakeholders, including political and international partners. You should also have excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience of presenting and writing-up research results for publication in peer-viewed books, conferences and/or journals; and be able to meet all the essential criteria set out in the Person Specification.
You will have a good understanding of how to maximise opportunities for practice driven research that promotes highly effective, safe and inclusive care packages. A critical and enquiring approach to all forms of data collection and management is expected, with sound understanding of a variety of methods and approaches from which to evaluate interventions at scale across complex social workplace and community settings. Interest and motivation to support and enable practice driven innovation is a key aspect of this project. We welcome your particular focus and expertise, which we will be keen to utilise to further enhance the project teams scope and potentials, so we welcome your input to achieve a really ambitious piece of work in collaboration with others.
