The University of Bath’s School of Management is seeking a proficient MSc Programme Administrator to join the team in a fast paced, varied role. You will be a dedicated, hardworking individual who works well in a team and autonomously in a busy fast paced environment. You can demonstrate attention to detail and working with a high volume workload in a multicultural environment. You will be required to process, reports and applications, provide programme support and maintain a high level of student experience. This role requires a good level of communication skills and the ability to work with students, agents and faculty as well as across departments.
You will form part of the School’s MSc Office team, taking responsibility for aspects of support for administrative programme support for the MSc suite of programmes and admissions, ensuring that services are efficient, effective and adapt to changing circumstances. You will also be involved in supporting processing applications to the programmes and need to display a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
The MSc team work well together, developing common systems and processes standardised on best practice and ensuring that University regulations and procedures are adhered to.
You will also be in regular communication with students (which may include matters of confidentiality) and potential applicants for recruitment related activity, so the post holder will need to have excellent organisational skills, demonstrate a good use of initiative and be able to interpret, apply and support complex information in a fast moving environment.
This is a busy and varied role which requires the ability to communicate persuasively and tactfully with academic staff, to ensure cooperation and compliance with milestones in the academic year. You must be able to work to tight deadlines on your own initiative, and to learn new systems and procedures rapidly. You may be required to work on multiple tasks and provide support to various members of the team at any given time.
This is a full time, permanent position working 36.5 hours per week. In addition, you may be required to support events and work occasional evenings and weekends.
