Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Control

Imperial College London – Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Location: South Kensington Campus

We are seeking to appoint a permanent faculty member in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level. This post-holder will expand and extend the department’s research in Control Engineering and enhance our international reputation in this field.

Our department has an international reputation for fundamental and applied research. We seek applicants with outstanding research records as demonstrated by publications, raising research funding and delivering impact, commensurate with the level of appointment. The standard of our education programmes and student cohort is equally high. We look for a passion in teaching and teaching innovation, and a track record in supporting the next generation of innovators. Applicants with a vision for integrating their research into their teaching strategy are particularly favoured.

The post-holder is expected to be a member of the Control and Power Group. The post-holder will contribute to the ongoing development and execution of the department’s research strategy.

The post is offered as a full-time, open-ended contract and is based in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London (South Kensington Campus).
