UCC wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Actuarial Science. A successful candidate will ideally be a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) and/or hold a PhD in Actuarial Science. Reporting to the Head of School of Mathematical Sciences, the appointee will play an important role in the development of Actuarial Science in the School, including supporting its responsibilities for delivery of the core principle syllabus of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and associated programme accreditation. There will be an expectation to practically contribute to the internationalization efforts in terms of both teaching and research activities.

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
