The Faculty of Engineering, Environment and Computing Registry has two Senior Registry Officer vacancies. Successful candidates will support the management of the Faculty Registry team, which is dedicated to the provision of academic administration in the Faculty of Engineering Environment and Computing.
As well as the administration of students’ academic records, successful candidates will be responsible for managing a team dedicated to providing practical and regulatory support and guidance to students, academics and customer support colleagues. This role is varied and interesting, giving the opportunity to engage with external organisations as well as with a variety of stakeholders across the Faculty and University Group. Registry plays an essential role within Coventry University Group and, as one of Coventry’s largest employers, we offer a wealth of opportunities for personal and professional development in this dynamic and expanding organisation.
As a member of the local management team, you will assist the Faculty Registrar in achieving organisational goals and will have the opportunity to help review and improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of operations and processes. Your input to continuous improvement will be crucial to the development of your team, and a great opportunity to put your ideas into practice.
You will need to be a natural team player and communicator and have proven ability to manage a small team. A positive attitude is essential, as is the ability to thrive under pressure in this fast-paced environment. Excellent IT skills and a commitment to accuracy and quality are essential and you should be comfortable working within regulated environments. Ideally qualified to degree level, we are open to considering candidates based on their skills and experience and may be able to offer apprenticeship routes to further qualifications for the right person.
